Open the RECORD tab, hit start, and Phosphor captures its visuals plus the system audio that drove them. H.264 to post, ProRes to cut. Drop the file into Instagram, TikTok, or your DAW.
Capture at 1080p, 1440p or 4K no matter how small the window is. Scenes are procedural shaders, so Phosphor re-renders offscreen at full resolution. That is real 4K detail, not an upscale.
The system audio Phosphor is visualizing is muxed straight into the file as 48 kHz stereo AAC. Frames are stamped from the wall clock, so picture and sound stay together.
The preset sets the vertical resolution and the width follows the window, so shape the window the way you want the clip and record. Drag it tall for Reels, wide for YouTube.
Switch on LOOP TO BAR and the take starts on a downbeat and ends on a bar line, so the clip runs a whole number of bars and cuts back to itself cleanly. Built for 4/4; if the beat tracker cannot find a downbeat it just records normally.

Switch the codec to ProRes 422 LT and the take lands in a MOV, ready to cut in Final Cut or Resolve without a re-encode.
Recording the visuals uses the same Metal canvas Phosphor already renders, so no screen-recording permission is needed. Recording the audio it visualizes reuses the audio tap permission you granted at install. That's it.
